Kids of all ages are invited to join the Moab Valley Multicultural Center staff in making decorative flowers that will be displayed at our 2023 Day of the Dead festival. The festival, set this year on October 29th at MVMC, is a celebration of life that honors spirits and loved ones who have passed away. Per some people's cultural beliefs, the holiday is when spirits return to earth to visit the living. That's why we need your help! The brightly colored flowers we create today are just one of the ways we invite the spirits back for a brief time on earth. The more colorful, the better!
