Feedback Survey

Thank you for participating in the 2022 Red Rock Arts Festival (RRAF)  and fillingout our feedback survey.

In 2022 our goal was to host a multimedia, participatory festival inviting creative connectedness and activating public spaces in vibrant Moab, Utah. We hoped to feed the public imagination, incite playfulness, and build community through a lineup of events, workshops, and installations produced with the help of various community partners.

Feedback from 17 community members varied, though it's clear that we shall never again host a Chalk Drawing Competition on asphalt—expect smooth sidewalk in 2023. Attendance indicated that the most popular events this year were Street Fest, a block-party-style event with live music and vendors, the free family-friendly pottery workshop at Desert Sun Ceramics, and the poetry reading at Back of Beyond Books. We also had a noteworthy number of participants for Leanna Usher's community mural at WabiSabi and a decent crowd for the WildWeirdWackyWesterns film competition screening (co-produced with the Moab to Monument Valley Film Commission) at Star Hall. The 2023 festival will be much more centralized around our building on 100 North to alleviate some of the confusion around where festival events are taking place. For most attendees, Street Fest is the festival, so our energy will be concentrated there. The words participatory, multimedia, and fun will continue
to help guide our plans for 2023—as well as taking into consideration our
community's need for exciting family friendly programming.

If you have not already, please fill out our survey so that we can gather feedback to continuously improve our events.
