Join us in the practice of envisioning a future full of celebrations, and gratitude for the creative spirit that makes us feel alive. We invite you to begin a daily celebration of aliveness before the festival by cultivating a regular practice of dancing followed by art making. This collaboration between rhythm, mind, body, and space is a powerful reminder that we are, as a matter of fact, alive. We are the creators of our present and of our future. With each dance, we are also the creators of a massive, collaborative dance playlist on Spotify!

CLICK HERE TO ADD SONGS TO THE PLAYLIST FROM THE SPOTIFY APP ON YOUR PHONE

View the beauty created during personal celebrations, and dance together to the collaborative playlist. Art materials and large canvases will be available to make collective pieces representing the creative energies of all who dance together.

Cecelia Foley is a relatively recent Moab dweller who grew up in fabulous, funky Ferndale, Michigan. Inspired by color and life, her art reflects the deep listening and feeling she strives to weave into a daily rhythm. The dance is always changing. Flowers, clouds, and the river are some of her favorite informants. She studied anthropology in Kalamazoo, Michigan and discovered the beauty of community in the city’s basement music and art scene. She is a crew leader for the Utah Conservation Corps with a strong interest in deepening the relationship between the human and non-human worlds. Her favorite materials are crayons, water color, and acrylic paints.
