About the Event
The Annual Chalk Drawing Competition will be held Saturday, September 30th to kick off our Streets Festival as a part of the Red Rock Arts Festival. Applications will be live at the end of August for individuals or teams of up to 5 people to submit a proposal to be approved by the Moab Arts staff. Applications must be submitted in advance. There will be two competitions - one for kids and one for adults (ages 16+) to encourage participation from people of all ages. The competition this year will take place on the sidewalk in front of the MARC (no asphault, yay!). Winners will be chosen via a public vote. Prizes include various goodies from local businesses as well as getting a shout out at our Red Rock Arts Street Festival.
Registration is free and chalk pastels are provided.
