Art Sales

Art Sale Submissions will be accepted on Wednesday, October 5th, 5pm - 6pm

Moab Arts (the MARC) is delighted to offer registered artists space to display up to two paintings for sale no larger then 24"x 24" (not including the frame and matting).  All pieces in the Art Sale MUST be framed or gallery wrapped, and ready to hang on a wall.  The Art Sale is open to the public Friday Oct. 7th - Sunday Oct. 9th, and Red Rock Arts Festival retains a 30% commission on all sales. Our team will notify you when your pieces sell.

Artists should plan to collect remaining artwork at the MARC on Sunday, October 9th by 8pm.

Plein Air Meeting , Competition Future

Moab Arts wants to provide the space for the plein air community to come together during the festival to talk about the future of a large scale plein air competition returning to Moab.

Moab Arts is collecting feedback from this year's event via paper and online surveys and will use that feedback to plan for future festivals. Our goals in 2022 were to celebrate different mediums of art, encourage participation, and activate public spaces. The plein air competition element is only one part of a multimeida festival—not the focus. That said, we want to support the plein air artists in our community and if there is a way we can aid in planning a future independent plein air competition in Moab, please reach out to staff.

This meeting is open to the public and will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday Oct. 7th in the MARC Side Yard.
