Main Competition turn-in: Thursday, October 7th, 2019 from 5pm - 9pm at the MARC. No late exceptions!
Main Competition Awards Ceremony: Saturday, October 9th, 2019 at 10:30am at the MARC.

The main competition awards and presentation are open to the public, and followed by an Art Sale. Competition winners are announced and the following prizes will be awarded:

• Best Of Show (Purchase Award) - $1350

• 1st Place Dry Media - $1200

• 1st Place Wet Media - $1200

• 1st Place Oil/ Acrylic - $1200

• MARC Staff Choice (Purchase Award) - $750

• 2nd Place Dry Media - $500

• 2nd Place Wet Media - $500

• 2nd Place Oil/Acrylic - $500

• Honorable Mention, 6 in ANY CATEGORY - $100

Please note there is NO limit to the number of surfaces you can have stamped. One painting may be submitted for the Main Competition per category, and it must have been completed within 50 surrounding miles of Moab (outdoors) during the festival. Up to 2 paintings may be submitted for the Art Sales.

Regarding art sales: Recent, regional, plein air art work will be accepted. You are responsible for frames and displays. Some tables will be provided. Space is limited and available on a first come basis. Be aware we may update the schedule before the event.
